Why stay in a stuffy motel room when you can rent a whole cozy cabin for the same price?! Charming A-Frame with spacious cathedral ceiling and loft, in a quiet, secluded winter wonderland setting of towering pines. Located in Tahoe Pines, old West Shore, just one mile north of Homewood Mountain Resort - a great family ski area. Ski all day and then curl up in the evening in front of the romantic wood-burning stove, or weather permitting, venture out to the night life of Tahoe City, Squaw Valley's Olympic Village, or the casinos at Stateline-North Shore.

View from across the creek. Snowplowed driveway entrance is to
the right of cabin. Access is not as difficult as it looks. Cabin can
be accessed without crossing creek or using footbridge.

Where Are We?
Take Interstate 80 to Route 89 South or Highway 50 to Route 89 North. However, if snow, then Northbound Highway 50 will be closed at Emerald Bay.
Drive five miles South of the "Y" at Tahoe City or five miles North of Tahoma.
One mile North of Homewood Marina & Ski Resort.
From the North, cross the stone bridge at Blackwood Creek and get ready to turn West onto Grand Avenue.
Doe Avenue looks more like a driveway than a street - from Grand turn left at the white arrow that says 4030 Doe.

Use www.mapquest.com for driving directions. IMPORTANT NOTE: Not all map websites and GPS systems have the correct driving directions. Some incorrectly instruct drivers to access the cabin from Park Avenue, but that is wrong! Doe Avenue does not go all the way through from Park Avenue. There is a small stream in the way. Instead, access our end of Doe Avenue from Grand Avenue - not Park Avenue.
